Four Piece Suit

ATTENTION ECLECTIC GUITAR MUSIC FANS:

It's taken awhile, but 4 Piece Suit has released its followup to the very successful 1996 CD Ready To Where? (Ocean Music CD OM 2006). Matinee IdyIls (Swang Records CD SW0001) has 17 delightfully eclectic tracks. Led by guitarist Mill Reder, this versatile New England quartet cuts loose on tunes like: "Bombasteroid," "Go Ahead And Burn" (strong R&B-based number), "SIoppy Shopping" (whimsically melodic), "Sneaky" (menacing sounding with a cool jazz-flavored solo from Milt), "El Nino" (surfish and "stormy" with great contrast between Milt's guitar and Dave Sholl's sax), "Elevator Shaft" (an infectious funk vibe with wah-wah and tons of great tones) and "Romeoville" (big guitar sound on this moderate-tempo balIad). Look for this one at a CD specialty store near you!
